I have played millions of hands of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of money at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the casino.

I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won't get rich with this method or defeat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!

I bet with basic strategy 21. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don't win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don't win I lower the wager back down to the original sum.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a number of years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this technique! And a few weeks ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You must understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the runs you witness gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.

Bet $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original $5 bet

Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $10

Bet $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial $10 wager

Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first $20 bet

Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar

Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager

Bet $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80

Bet eighty dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager

Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the first 1 hundred and sixty dollar wager

If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!

It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and drop your bet or the end result won't be the same.
