I have wagered on countless of hands of twenty-one. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have played online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of funds at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to beat the casino.

I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have played a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won't get rich with this method or defeat the house, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your hot, and when you're not you are NOT!

I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don't win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original sum.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a couple of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this technique! And a few weeks ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You have to understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you see playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.

Wager five dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first five dollar wager

Bet $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Wager ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager

Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $20 bet

Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 bet

Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80

Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first $80 bet

Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160

Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 1 hundred and 60 dollar wager

If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!

It is iffy to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can't alter and drop your bet or the end result won't be the same.
